RIGGER (offshore)

Job description:

We are searching for experienced offshore riggers for various offshore wind projects. 

The Offshore Rigger responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

- Assist with lifting operations

- Handle ropes and cables to make slings and tackle

- Ability to give the correct lifting signals to the crane operator other riggers

- Inspect, maintain and repair equipment

- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team

- Working knowledge of all Company procedures, including Safety Management System, applicable to his/her duties

- Carrying out all work in accordance with the established safety standards and work practices

- Taking part in emergency and occupational on-board training when applicable 

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Offshore Rigger

- Experience on Cable Lay Vessels

- Valid rigger / banksman certificates

- Valid Offshore Medical

- BOSIET Training or Equivalent (OPITO approved)

- GWO All modules

- Fluent both in spoken and written English
